Dr Wanini Edemba

MBCHB, MMED pediatrics and child health, Post. Dip Respiratory medicine

Dr. Wanini Edemba, is a consultant pediatrician and researcher with special interests in pulmonology. She loves children. She is self-driven and passionate about providing cost effective solutions that promote health in children.

She has a Master’s Degree in Pediatrics and Child Health (UoN), Bachelor’s Degree of Medicine and Bachelor of General Surgery (UoN), A Post Graduate Diploma in Respiratory Medicine from the University of South Wales and various professional certifications by University of Washington.

She is registered by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC).

She is an active member of the Kenya Pediatric Association (KPA), Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC) and the Respiratory Society of Kenya (RSK).

Many parents may believe that the internet has made it easier for them to learn what is wrong with their sick child. It can however be misleading in some cases.

We have provided links to some good websites that you can access through our website. Furthermore, we encourage parents to seek health information from us during their visits, by phone and via email. We feel our experience and approach-ability are good, so please ask us lots of questions when you come in. You will leave with peace of mind!

For Emergencies

Urgent Cases

Dr Nini’s Pediatric Clinic is an out-patient clinic, there are some urgent cases that we can and cannot handle. In such cases, please call the clinic.

Your call will be directed to Dr. Wanini who will establish whether you need to bring your child in immediately or you can be seen at the next available appointment time or you need take your child to a hospital emergency room directly.
